Star Plus is all set to get back into the TRP race, as one of its most prized shows, Khichdi is all set to make a comeback to the small screen after a hiatus of over 13 years.
This is just what the channel may need to give the dipping numbers a boost and set the ball rolling again.
But, you just can't rely on one show, right? And hence, the channel has multiple shows under the works, with some already on the path to go on-air in a couple of months, while some are in the nascent stage.
One such show is celebrated producer, Saurabh Tewari's upcoming venture.
When you think of Saurabh Tewari, the man has some of the most successful shows to his credit, which include Drashti Dhami's Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and the currently on-air Karan Vohra - Samiksha Jaiswal starrer, Zindagi Ki Mehek amongst a lot many others.
Just yesterday, we reported about how the producer has decided to adapt one of the works of elite Hindi writer, Harishankar Parsai's works for this upcoming Star Plus show, which has been titled, Krishna Chali London.
The show has already roped in Gaurav Sareen and Megha Chakraborty to play the lead roles, while veterans like Sushmita Mukherjee and Neeraj Sood will play important roles too.
Joining the cast now is actor, Abhinandan Jindal, who is best known for his roles in shows like Jiji Maa and Thapki... Pyaar Ki among others.
Abhinandan will play the role of Saajan, who will be a friend to the male lead, Radhe. However, apart from being a friend, Saajan will also be more of a mentor to the leading man.
The show does look really interesting, isn't it? How excited are you for the show? Leave in your comments below.
