Launch of Sony's Pitaah postponed to May 24th..

Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah, the upcoming show on Sony will now launch on May 24th, instead of April 26th.

Swastik Pictures' Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah was to launch on Sony Entertainment Television, on April 26th at the 8.30 PM slot. And promos mentioning this were on air from quite a while.

But the latest news is that the channel has decided to postpone the launch by a month or so.

According to our source, "The channel has taken a call to delay the launch of Pitaah. The reason for this is that, they want to give the show a good pre-launch promotion. The fresh promo indicating the new launch date should be air in few days time".

Our source states, "As per the change, Pitaah will now launch on May 24th, at the 8.30 PM slot".

When contacted, Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Sony told us, "Yes, it is true that Pitaah is not launching on April 26th now. However, we have not decided on the new date of launch".

Producer Siddharth Tewary confirmed that, "Pitaah will now launch on May 24th. It is the channel's call, wherein they plan to promote the show on a large scale".

Pitaah has Archana Taide as the main lead. Pramod Moutho, Varun Badola, Reshmi Ghosh, Krip Suri, Sulbha Arya, Kshitee Jog play pivotal roles in the show.

One more new show by SONY, and again they will end this one after 5-6 months saying its getting low TRP. That's what they say for every show, then they must close their channel. If any channel will show a serial for more than 10 times a day, that show will gain TRP, talking abt CID. That gets TRP just becoz its being tele casted on SONY around 10 times a day. So its obvious it will get a good TRP. Anyways good luck for this show, not to SONY but to its CV's.

this show is not even replacing pkb this show is slated to take the 8.30pm slot which is jeet jaye ge hum slot i think and pkb time slot is 8pm

wth...!!!!!!!!!!!! if they r going to launch pitaah a month later then why are they ending bandhan this month itself?? i am so freakin' p***** at the sony channel.. pkb can go on for a few weeks more, giving the show the characters and their story a proper ending instead of rushing it so much... arrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
