In the realm of Indian cinema, the portrayal of women and their narratives has often been overshadowed. However, there are instances where actresses and filmmakers strive to break free from this stereotype and pave the way for change. "Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu’s Crew" stands as a shining example of this paradigm shift, recently crossing the coveted Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.

Reflecting on the film's success, Kriti Sanon expressed her belief that a film's appeal isn't solely dependent on a male lead. Addressing the industry's reluctance to invest in female-centric projects on par with male-led ventures, Kriti emphasized the need for change.

She stated,

"A film doesn't have to be led by a man to pull the audience to the theater. For the longest time, people have not taken the risk of scaling female-oriented films as they do for male-centric ones."

For Kriti, the success of "Crew" signifies a potential turning point in the industry's approach towards funding and scaling female-driven narratives. She expressed optimism, saying, "This is sort of the start of a change, I am hoping, at least."

On the professional front, Kriti Sanon's recent appearance in "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya" alongside Shahid Kapoor has garnered attention. Next up, she is set to star in "Do Patti" alongside the acclaimed actress Kajol, marking yet another milestone in her illustrious career.
