Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions under NCB Scanner, Kshitij Prasad Receives Summon

The Narcotics Control Bureau is leaving no stone unturned in investigating the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood and the entertainment industry. What started as a probe in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe has now opened doors for a massive disclosure in supply and consumption of illegal substances by top celebrities.

In the latest development, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has come under the NCB scanner as the NCB has summoned Executive Producer & director Kshitij Ravi Prasad. As per a Republic TV report, Kshitij Prasad has been asked to appear before the NCB on Friday, at 11 am.

On Wednesday, the Narcotics Control Bureau issued summons to top Bollywood actresses including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning in the drugs-case. While Sara and Shradhha have been called on September 26 2020, Rakul will present herself in front of the NCM tomorrow, i.e. on September 25, 2020, for questioning.

Previously, Rakul’s team claimed that they had not received any summons from the NCB. While the actress is currently shooting in Hyderabad, NCB officials arrived at her Mumbai house to deliver the summon. 

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone along with her manager Karishma Prakash has been called for questioning on September 25 2020. Dharma Productions’ Kshitij Prasad and Deepika will be grilled on Friday.

 Deepika was in Goa, where she was shooting for Shakun Batra’s project also starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. Reportedly, she received permission for a charter plane and will arrive back in Mumbai anytime soon. Ahead of it, Times Now has reported that Mumbai Police has been asked to deploy additional security at the NCB office tomorrow ahead of her visit.
