Kamal Haasan is a well-known name in both the Bollywood and South film industries. Fans have been ecstatic since the announcement of his film Vikram. Well, this movie is all set for a June 3 release, and the creators recently released the first song, Pathala Pathala, to keep the anticipation energy up.

For the uninitiated, Kamal wrote the lyrics, sang the song, and managed to make it into the headlines. However, the actor is now back in the spotlight, but not for the right reasons. According to the latest rumours, Haasan has been charged for this song.

According to a report in the Times of India, a social activist claims that the lyrics of Pathala Pathala disrespect the national government and induce divisions in society. As a result, a complaint has been lodged against Kamal Haasan at the Chennai Police Commissioner's office, soliciting that certain lyrics from the song be removed. If no action is taken on Vikram's recent grievance, the activist has decided to file a petition in the Madras High Court seeking a stay of execution.

Fans of Kamal Haasan's local Madras slang have been enjoying the melody on all musical platforms. Pathala Pathala has over 14 million views and 770K+ likes on YouTube and has been trending at the top.

Film buffs consider Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' to be the next big thing in Tamil cinema. The film will be released on June 3, the same day as the highly anticipated 'Major,' a biopic of the 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, and the Akshay Kumar-led 'Prithviraj.' Fahaad Fazil, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie Shankar, and Chemban Vinod essay pivotal roles in the film.
