Kajol's nostalgic transformation: 'Anjali is Back' 25 years after 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'

It's been a quarter of a century since the release of one of Bollywood's most iconic films, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' and for anyone who grew up in the '90s, this film holds a special place in their hearts. As Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji danced to the beats of the unforgettable title track, they left behind a legacy of moments that forever etched love and friendship into our minds, making it impossible to think of Rahul without Anjali.

After all these years, Kajol recently paid a heartfelt tribute to her character, Anjali, by recreating her iconic look from the film. 

She sported short hair, reminiscent of her character, and completed the look with a cap and white sports shoes. Watching the clip she shared, it's safe to say that 'Anjali is back.'

Sharing the same, she wrote, "Stepping back into Anjali's shoes after 25 years (couldn't find the basketball though). So many memories and love attached to this film... So glad that everyone loves it as much as I do. A first for @karanjohar and the beginning of an amazing journey for @dharmamovies... Fabulous music that still resonates, even today... #kkhh is and always will be a labor of love."

To mark this special occasion, limited screenings of 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' were held in Mumbai on October 25, where Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar took the time to meet their fans and express their gratitude for the unwavering love and support. Unfortunately, Kajol couldn't be present at the event due to her prior commitments.

'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' narrates the tale of three college friends: Rahul (Shah Rukh), Anjali (Kajol), and Tina (Rani Mukerji). Anjali secretly harbours a deep love for her best friend, Rahul, who, in turn, is in love with Tina. Years later, the story takes a turn when Rahul's late wife, Tina, and their young daughter, also named Anjali (Sana Saeed), set out on a mission to reunite her father and Anjali, culminating in a heartwarming and unforgettable journey.
