Giaa Manek's unceremonious exit from the Star Plus show in 2012, paved way for Devoleena Bhattacharjee and the actress very easily stepped into the character of Gopi. Devoleena has taken the character of Gopi to new heights with her splendid portrayal of the same.

However, the pretty actress is contemplating leaving the show, or so we hear.

According to sources, the current track is dealing with Vidya's pregnancy. So this would make Gopi the grandmother. But the actress is not keen on playing that role at this point of time in her career. Apparently, the actress feels that playing mother to youngsters was justified because it was necessary for the track. But not playing a grand mom.

We tried reaching the actress, but she remained unavailable for comment.
