John Abraham denies doing 'Hawa Singh'

Rumour mills suggested that actor John Abraham would be a part of the upcoming biopic on National heavyweight champion, of the early 1900s, 'Hawa Singh'. The actor was said to be playing the lead role in the film. However, the actor has now put a pause to all the rumours by giving us, his side of the story.

In a recent interaction with the media for 'Dishoom' the actor was asked whether he will be seen in 'Hawa Singh'. He said, "Hawa Singh was offered to me and I think it's a very interesting story, but I do not know at this point of time if I am doing Hawa Singh or not. I've definitely not signed it though the story is very intense. There's always a trend, sports biopics has become a trend. Then remakes become a trend, realistic films have become a trend. So, I will always do what the trend doesn't tell you to do".

The actor clarified that though he liked the film's story and found it interesting he isn't doing the film for now.

John will be next seen in Rohit Dhawan's upcoming film 'Dishoom' on 29th July, 2016.
