Jee Le Zaraa: Filming of Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra & Alia Bhatt starrer to be delayed

One of the most-awaited projects ever since it was announced a while ago has been the film, Jee Le Zara. The film has pulled off a casting coup having trailblazer superstars, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt being roped in.

The project was intended to go on floors by July or August of this year. However, this is not the case. Only early next year will filming on this much-anticipated picture begin. According to the reports, the reason for the delay is 'combination dates.'

It will take some time to finalise the dates for the three actresses, the report further stated. The balance cast is yet to be determined. The modalities are quickly being ironed out.

Meanwhile in an interview, Priyanka Chopra had revealed that while saying yes for 'Jee Le Zaraa', she asked director Farhan Akhtar that she 'better be dancing in this movie'. She had also said that it has been a long time since she delivered dialogues in Hindi.

For the unversed, an official announcement of Jee Le Zaraa was made in August 2021. Alia Bhatt had shared a photo with Katrina and Priyanka on her Instagram page. The caption to her post read, "2 years ago 3 girls came together with 1 dream There was only one place to go to make that dream come true; to 4 of the funnest dream-makers and storytellers in the business @faroutakhtar @zoieakhtar @reemakagti1 @ritesh_sid And now 50 Zoom calls later. Farhan Akhtar will helm Jee Le Zaraa, which he co-wrote with his sister Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Farhan, Zoya, Reema, and Ritesh Sidhwani will produce the film.
