It's necessary to spend some time taking care of yourself: Rati Pandey

Lovely actress Rati Pandey, who has enthralled the audience with her acting skills on popular shows like Miley Jab Hum Tum, Hitler Didi, and last seen on Begu Sarai is currently missing from the screens. Meanwhile, the actress is utilizing her sabbatical phase by exploring herself and spending time with her loved ones.

In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Rati shares more about how is she keeping herself occupied these days, some useful learnings of life and much more. Read on...

She shares, "These days, I am taking care of myself a lot. I focus more on hitting the gym and exercise. I am doing what makes me feel happy. My parents also are in town so I am spending most of the time with them. It mostly happens that whenever we live alone then we start making friends or get engaged in some activities, but I have realized that it's very necessary to spend time with yourself because it's very important to know yourself first. Along with making friends, I have spent a lot of time with myself too, which was much needed."

"I love myself and I am proud to be myself. My parents have nurtured me so well that it makes me feel blessed and proud to be myself. I will never change myself. In this span of time, I have learned that it's necessary to spend time with yourself and explore yourself and you should never be dependent on others. Always think positive and know that everything happens for good. There comes different phases in your life and you have to be prepared for everything; even for the worst. Face it and fight it out," added the actress.

Rati, who was last seen as Komal on Begu Sarai, is still is in good touch with all her co stars from the show. Talking about the same, she told us, "I am in touch with almost everyone. We don't often get to meet each other because when a show ends everyone gets busy in their own life. We do share morning messages, jokes, etc. I think being in touch with them itself is a very good thing."

Recently, there have been news doing rounds in the media about Rati being approached for different comedy shows. We wonder if she would be keen on doing comedy shows further. She quipped, "I have no idea from where these rumors keep cropping up. It misleads production people too, who approach for shows. If I will get an opportunity to do a comedy show then why not! Doing comedy is better than emotional scenes. It acts like a stress buster."

So, what you would like to say about the current trend on television... where shows based on supernatural themes are liked by the audience. She replied, "I won't like to comment anything on it. It's a trend and is hence liked by the audience the most these days. After some time, this trend will go away and some other trend will come."

Having essayed a negative role in Begu Sarai, Rati was loved by the audience rather than being hated. When we mentioned this to her, she laughed and added, "It's always a good thing when you are hated for playing a negative role but I was surprised that I was loved. They appreciated me and they even used to write me that - Ap isko maaro usko maaro (laughs). I think that the fans who keep calling me 'Rati di' have taken everything too personally and loved me in negative too. It feels good."
