i love both Iqbal and Niti, but he looks like he could be her dad. Anyway, they are both talented so msybe, it wouldn't be so bad.

iqbal is a brilliant sctor no doubt..n yeah we hv no right to criticize niti..I haven't seen her work but she must b good..if she is opposite iqbal m more than happy..tht means story is diff n m sure all MIK n NT fans will lov their jodi..

Okay, never bothered to watch 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' but if season 2 is going to feature Iqbal, then I'm in without giving it a second thought. Iqbal Khan is the only actor who can make me sit in front of the television screen everyday, watching a Hindi TV soap. He makes the classiest of choices when it comes to scripts and the kind of roles he has played are probably the most versatile.Besides, his last outing with this production house gave us something as precious as 'Tumhari Paakhi'.

I hope the flavour of the show is a bit different than the first season. Have absolutely no clue about the lady approached but hope everything fits. Desperately waiting to see Iqbal on screen!

Diya and baati has a great concept. Great enough to bring in good number of fans.. NITI TAYLOR is cherry on the cake.. She looks bubbly chirpy kiddo yet mature at the same time.. Shashi sumit production can never go wrong in casting atleast.. Had never thought that deepika could ever play this strong women.. But she was the best! And i have no words for Niti. She is a very hardworking girl.. She will rock it.. Be it the chemistry with her co-actor or her dedication to work.. She is the superb!

Diya and Baati season 2 is making all the news it seems! LOL!
I haven't seen Iqbal's any of work but I do intend to have an open mind unlike a few here. I am a fan of Niti, all thanks to her marvellous performances and it feels great to be amongst the mature lot here. It's sad that people who haven't even done their reseach about how accomplished actress she is at such a young age, has jumped to judge her. She is youngest achiever in so many ways. Started working in age of 16, have done so many shows and even movies, nailed her last show with utmost excellence; She has such a vast experience in such younge age. I hope people had a little patience to even wait for confirmations. None of them confrimed and judgements are already flowing like mad.
Anway, bad attitudes can't be helped. If they could have, I would have read some real sensible comments here.
All the best to show with casting.
If Niti does DABH2, I am watching :D Yo!

Niti Taylor and Iqbal Khan both are my favourites good luck for both these actors
And how can anyone compare a senior actor who has done lot of shows and films with a young actress who has done few shows ofcourse he is talented but she is no less her very first show playing a lead she won so much love and a huge fanbase with her fantastic acting so don't judge somebody without knowing anything and the makers of a hit show are intelligent enough to choose talented actors for the show and so they chose Niti and Iqbal now it depend upon the actors whether they choose to do the show or not..so my best wishes for both the actors for whatever project they do..love you Niti Taylor

I don't know why people here are demeaning the other lead. It's not yet sure about ML & FL & here everyone is busy disgracing the other lead. She is not an experienced actor but she is talented. She started acting as a teenager & has done enough shows. If you haven't watched her shows, then please stop judging her. I or you no one knows the concept of s2. May be it needs a teenager girl & above 30 ML. If rumours to be believed I am sure it is something like this, that's why makers have chosen NITI & MIK. Iqbal khan is a brilliant actor, his shows were even loved. He is very choosy & picky in case of show selecting. Even niti is picky, she has some limitations to chose any show & one of the reasons is her childish face. If they are leads, sure season 2 is coming up with a different concept. If makers think they will fit the roles, then who are we to criticize? Peace out & hope for the best.
