Imtiaz Ali Starts Living Again with Ex-Wife Preety Ali

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused tremendous distress all across the globe. It has resulted in a nationwide lockdown and has affected business sectors to a great extent. Besides monetary damage, the COVID-19 has also impacted relationships. 

Recently, there have been rumours of a split between couples like Sunidhi Chauhan - Hitesh Sonik, Asha Negi - Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Kundrra - Anusha Dandekar. However, the couples have rubbished all such rumours. 

On the contrary, here is some good news. Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has reportedly reconciled with his estranged wife Preety Ali. Imtiaz and Preety got divorced in 2012 but maintained their friendship. As per latest reports, Ali has moved in with the latter and the duo is taking care of their daughter Ida together.

A SpotboyE report states that Imtiaz started living again with estranged wife Preety a month ago, and they even called their daughter, Ida who is studying in the US, back to Mumbai. Currently, the three of them are living together and are spending good time.

After his divorce, Imtiaz had said, "Yes, I am. I had become very formal in my approach to everybody. Marriage is so artificial; it comes with so many dos and don'ts that not only make you claustrophobic but also mediocre. It reduces you to a ch***a version of yourself, you play roles to meet someone else's expectations. Today, I say things as they are. I'm not hypocritical. I am as open-minded as when I was in school and college."

In 2018, there were reports that the Love Aaj Kal director was dating celeb chef, Sarah Todd. Mumbai Mirror had reported, "They share a common passion for food and travel and like spending time with each other. Imtiaz is a very private person and likes to keep his personal life away from the public view. They are taking it slow for now and there is no clarity if the topic of marriage has been raised."
