Imlie: Imlie takes the blame of Raghu's murder on herself in front of Surya

Surya confronts Imlie, acknowledging their mutual lack of trust. 

He insists that until they establish trust, they'll both remain wary, but he assures her that once she divulges at least half of the truth and trusts him, he'll disarm himself. In response, Imlie asserts that when she uncovers the true culprit, he'll need to trust her. Their exchange is overheard by Malti, prompting Surya to question her presence. Malti expresses her belief that they're unjust in distrusting Imlie; despite evidence suggesting otherwise, her instincts refuse to accept Imlie's guilt regarding Raghu. Surya advises Malti to rely on reason over emotion, promising to uncover the truth in due time. He then contacts someone, arranging a meeting for the following day, confident that this encounter will compel Imlie to reveal the truth.

The next morning, Daadi conducts a ritual, involving her family in the ceremony. Rajni shares Binni's claim that Imlie is scheming against Surya, drawing dismissive responses from others who label it as gossip. Alka questions when Sonali will cease supporting Imlie, prompting Binni to suggest ousting Imlie from the house, blaming her for their distress. Meanwhile, Imlie prepares breakfast as per her responsibilities. Her friend notifies her that the jeep she sought is available in the market. Meanwhile, Surya instructs Monty/Raghu's friend to visit his new residence.

Before leaving, Daadi stops Imlie, offering her blessings. Moved, Imlie accepts the gesture, pledging her loyalty. Daadi, however, urges her to leave, citing her as a source of unhappiness. Despite protests, Imlie refuses, citing her commitment to Agastya's family. Daadi assigns her tasks, leaving Imlie to fulfill her duties as the family heads to the temple. Observing from the balcony, Surya monitors Imlie's activities.

As Imlie completes her chores, Surya challenges her to clean a spill, reigniting their banter. Meanwhile, Monty arrives at the Chaudhry mansion, apprehensive about Surya's potential discovery. Recognizing him, Imlie recalls their past encounter, stirring unease. Surya tasks Imlie with preparing tea for Monty. When confronted by Shivani, Imlie attempts to pacify her. Surya questions Shivani about Monty, while Imlie, taking responsibility for the incident involving Raghu, calls the police. Surya accuses her of Raghu's murder.
