I would like to play a challenging role where I can perform and show my talent - Jay Soni

The good looking and popular actor Jay Soni, who was last seen in Colors' Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki was recently seen hosting Dil Hain Chotasa Choti Si Asha on Sony Pal.

After hosting Saregamapa Lil Champs, he hosted this show with Ragini Khanna who was his co-star in Star Plus' Sasural Gendha Phool. We quizzed Jay about hosting the show and much more.

Talking about his experience of hosting the show, he said, "I have already done hosting before for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa lil champs and it was a hit season and then again I got busy with my daily soaps. Now again when I got a call for anchoring I was really happy. What I liked about Dil Hain Chotasa Choti Si Asha, it was game show introduced for women. I got a chance to interact with different women everyday and I felt that they were strong and got positive vibes from them. It's a very good thing that they never think of giving up and I feel proud that I was associated with this show. I think I am getting a chance through this medium to fulfill their small needs. I really got connected with all women. I feel very motivating having a very positive atmosphere around me."  

"I was out for my second honeymoon in Spain and I got a message first and then I got a call from Jahnavi. I remember I just spoke to them for a few minutes they explained me everything about the show and I really liked it. So immediately I said yes to them everything was just sorted in half and an hour. After coming back I started attending workshops and all," adds Jay.  

Talking about his experience working with Ragini again as his co-host, he shared, "I have worked with Ragini Khanna before and I know her so it was much more easier for me to work with her. I am much comfortable working with her."

When asked Jay about the role he would like to play in future, he said, "I would like to play a rich spoiled brat character. I want to play something which I have never done before, something new and interesting which will be more challenging and where I can perform and show my talent."
