'I was 27 and couldn't even wear a pair of shorts' :Parineeti Chopra

Actress Parineeti Chopra has made a comeback in Bollywood after a year's break. The actress will now be seen in a special appearance for a song in Rohit Dhawan's 'Dishoom'. She had gained herself immense popularity from her debut film 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' itself. After her year long break from films, she is back again shedding her voluptuousness, now in a sizzling avatar.

The actress had received fair amount of criticism for her figure and thus she made it a point to get herself into shape.

Recently, when Parineeti was asked, the reason behind taking a break, she says, "Yaa ofcourse, the way I entered the industry, I did four films back to back. You know the kind of person I am, really not as filmy as these guys are. I come from a very different discipline and I've lived my life in a very different way. I myself need that emotional break, I know it sounds stupid as I am so new that I needed a break. But I really needed myself to settle down mentally. 

"It's such a different world for me as I come from a world of banking and academics. To be in front of the camera and have that pressure, even though I was happy inside I was like I need to sort some answers. Now, the dedication and concentration on my work is only because of this break because I wanted to work on my body," Parineeti added.

"I was 27 and couldn't even wear a pair of shorts. So I really wanted to wear better clothes and not worry about anything. So, ya this one year break was really amazing and it was the best thing that has happened to me and now when I work, it's so beautiful. Now I can wear shorts, wow I can wear sleeveless," she exclaimed.

The actress seemed to be really joyous as she now feels more confident to step ahead in her professional life.

'Dishoom' stars John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandes in the lead roles.The film is slated to hit the theatres on 29th July, 2016.
