Zee TV's recently launched fiction show, Meet, has made a special place for itself in the audience’s hearts since its premiere. The inspirational show presents the story of Meet Hooda (Ashi Singh), who mirrors several women across the nation, fighting societal norms of gender roles regarding work and responsibilities. While Meet Hooda and her husband Meet Ahlawat’s (Shagun Pandey) love story has had its fair share of twists and turns, the upcoming episodes will be full of drama. As in the upcoming episodes, Meet Hooda is trying to find out the truth and the connection between her father’s death and Tej Ahlawat’s (Vishal Gandhi) trauma.

While Vishal Gandhi has been acing the role of Tejvardhan Ahlwat and winning hearts with his performance, he talks about how difficult and different it has been for him to play such a character on-screen. As we all know Tej’s character is someone who has been through trauma in the past and has apparently lost his memory. Vishal reveals how he has been preparing for it, how his team has been the biggest support throughout and is giving his best to portray Tej’s character on the show.

I took this character because it makes me challenge myself to go beyond my comfort zone. While preparing for the character, I chose to stay away from any references as I wanted to avoid being influenced by any previous scripts.

Talking about the same, Vishal mentioned, “I took this character because it makes me challenge myself to go beyond my comfort zone. While preparing for the character, I chose to stay away from any references as I wanted to avoid being influenced by any previous scripts. I hope my efforts impress my audience.”

He further added, “Both my directors have been very kind to me, they have given me my space to perform the way I want to, not adding any extra pressure by not giving me references to the character. I believe in playing it by the ear.”

Well, the audience is definitely loving Tej’s character and is eagerly waiting for the upcoming track that will reveal the truth behind Meet Hooda’s father’s death and its connection with Hawa Singh and Tej’s trauma.
