I purchased a jewelry set for my mother from my first salary - Upasana Singh

Nothing feels greater than getting your first salary which you earn it with your hard work. No matter how much we earn today but first salary always remains special in one's life that is to be cherished forever.

TellyBuzz quizzes your favorite stars about their first salary and their memories related to their first salary and that memorable day of their life. This time we got in touch with the very talented and popular actress Upasana Singh, who is loved as Bua on Colors' Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Talking about her first salary, Upasana Singh says, "My first salary was of Rs.10,000 for a Rajasthani movie. I gifted a jewelry set from that money to my mother. I am very much attached to my mother and the kind of efforts she has taken for me to fulfill my dreams is countless."

Further she adds, "I still remember, I have come from a very middle class and my dream was to become an actress, the only person because to support me in achieving my dream is my mother who sold her jewelries and much more items to earn. She paid the fees for my dance classes and acting school. She has sacrificed a lot to accomplish her dream and it was my turn to give her the happiness she deserves and so I have always tried to spend my salary on household items and the valuables needed by my mother."  

"As my mother is no more with us, my sister and me have planned to build a trust on her name and help the needy and poor people as much as we can. My sister's daughter is a lawyer so she will take help from other lawyers as well and we will fund on the behalf of needy people to fight for them."

Indeed it's a noble thought, isn't it!
