I can call up Karan without doing any film: Sara Ali Khan on nepotism

She admits star kids have an added advantage in Bollywood

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan might just be two films old but her charismatic personality and her act in Kedarnath and Simmba have been widely appreciated, by audience and critics alike. But despite all that, she is unable to avoid the pertinent question of nepotism since she belongs to a renowned family and is the daughter of actor parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh.

Now during a recent interaction with a magazine, Sara was asked about it once again and admitted that for star kids it is a little easy entering Bollywood. "I definitely believe that knowing people in the industry does help. That's not a fact that I can run away from. I've often admitted to the fact that the biggest advantage of nepotism is the fact that we have easy access to people. I can call up Karan Johar without doing any film. I can go to Rohit Shetty's office. So these are privileges I'm well aware of," the young starlet was quoted as saying.

Sara further maintained, "There's also a level of protection that we enjoy. Not that we've asked for it, not that we choose our parents and not that we need to work any less hard. But anyone who denies this isn't cool."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara is rumoured to be starring opposite her 'crush' Kartik Aaryan in Love Aaj Kal 2 apart from apparently signing for David Dhawan's remake of Coolie No 1 opposite Varun Dhawan.
