I am not quitting the show; my track is getting over: Varunn Jain

The good looking and talented actor Varunn Jain, who has won audience's heart by essaying the role of Mohit on Shashi Sumeet Mittal's popular show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' on Star Plus, will soon be bidding adieu to the show as his track comes to an end on the show.

Though he has been hated by the audience as Mohit but equally loved by his fans as Varunn in his journey of 4 years with the show. As the actor is all set to say Goodbye to the show, he shares more about his experiences, his journey, future plans and much more in this conversation with TellyBuzz.

Talking about his journey with the show, Varunn said, "It's been an amazing journey with the show. We completed 1200 episodes recently and I am so proud to be a part of it. Since I am associated with the show from day one, leaving the show is going to be little emotional for me. After all, I have been a part of the show for 4 long years and all of a sudden, the track is getting over. I am really grateful to Shashi Mam, Sumeet Sir and Star Plus as it is because of them, that I have got a new family in Mumbai. Now I won't be able to meet my family like co-stars, on a daily basis and I will miss all my co-stars, the bonding with them, the lunch we used to share and sit and chit chat together. It's been a nice journey and I have got lots of memories to cherish forever that will never be deleted."

It's been quite a challenging journey for Varunn as Mohit on the show; from playing a negative character to playing a father at a young age. Varunn says, "I loved playing negative role because it has so many shades, while positive character hardly has any shade. I used to enjoy a lot playing this role and whenever I used to get hate mails from people, I used to feel good that I am doing my job well. It was very challenging playing a father though, and I had to prepare myself mentally for this role. I think I am too young to play a father but I had to do it as it was the demand of the story and I did it because I was connected with the show since four years."  

"Every bad thing comes to an end eventually, and I have been playing a negative role for quite a long time now and as all bad things have to come to an end, this is the end of Mohit on the show. Hopefully I will do some good things in future," elaborated Varunn.

"Fans have always supported me and I am still getting so many messages from them asking me not to quit the show. I just want to tell them that I am not quitting the show; my track is getting over and I would like to thank all of you, for your love and concern. Hopefully, you all will get to see me in a good role soon. Just keep showering your love and affection on me," signs off the actor conveying a sweet message for his fans.
