As an actor, you're playing a father to a 10-year-old onscreen. Some actors are skeptical about playing parental roles. Did you have any reservations about it?

I didn't have any reservations about playing a father to a 10-year-old onscreen. In fact, I believe that even after this, I can convincingly portray a college boy. Every story has to evolve and progress at some point. I appreciated how my character's journey in the show was developing, so I agreed to take on the role. It's all about how convincingly you portray the character. I understand that I may not appear that age, but as a performer, my job is to play the character with such conviction that the audience believes it. I didn't think too much before accepting the role of a father because the character arc was fantastic, and I believe I can do justice to it.

Your chemistry with Kaveri was well-received. Now, with a new character entering the show, do you think the audience will accept this new chemistry?

My chemistry with Kaveri was exceptional, and her exit was challenging for me too, considering we had worked together for 10 months. It will take time to establish a new chemistry and break the ice. However, I would like to request everyone to welcome the new cast members with the same love they've shown us so far. Devoleena is joining us, and she has a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaiting her comeback. I believe the audience will enjoy watching the show with the new additions.

Is it challenging to build an entirely new chemistry from scratch after investing so much in establishing one?

Building a new chemistry does take time, but it's part of our job, and I've been doing it for years. I've already had a mock shoot with Devoleena, and she's very pleasant. I don't think it will be a significant challenge. The off-screen journey of characters often mirrors their on-screen journey—how they meet for the first time and gradually form a bond. This provides an opportunity to develop friendship and rapport. So, I don't anticipate it being overly difficult.

There have been ongoing rumors about the show's possible cancellation. What are your thoughts on this?

These rumors about the show going off the air have been circulating for some time. However, we are still going strong, and there hasn't been any official notice or news of the show being pulled from the channel. If the show were to end, the makers wouldn't have introduced a leap and new characters. We've completed 11 months, and there's been no indication of cancellation. I hope it doesn't happen. It feels like a fresh start for the show now, with a new vibe. I hope viewers appreciate it and continue to support the show.
