Hunt for grownup Phulwa is on!

The channel and production house are said to be working towards a leap in Phulwa..

Most of the shows in television proceed towards their next big phase in story line by taking a generation leap which gives a completely new dimension to the show. The same will happen sooner or later in the Colors' show Phulwa, produced by Siddharth Tewary.

The story of the little girl Phulwa, played by Jannat Zubair Rahmani who fights against injustice is said to be loosely based on the dacoit Phoolan Devi's life. Though there is lot much to unfold in the coming future in the little Phulwa's life, we hear that the channel and production house have started their preparation for the big leap.

The buzz is that a 10 year leap is being planned in the show and auditions for the post leap characters are on. This also means that the hunt for the grownup Phulwa is on in full swing.

The leap we hear will happen in the next two months.

We tried contacting Producer Siddharth Tewary and even sent him a text, but did not get any revert.

We contacted Wasna Ahmed but she was clueless about the leap. Our efforts to get in touch with Angad Hasija were futile.

Let's now look forward to the next big twists in Phulwa's life..

Hi, I am new to IF but have come here just to give message on behalf of all of us that none can justify the role with more finesse than Shikha Singh. She was brilliant as Amba and we could have never guessed that she is an uptown girl. She picked up the mannerisms of a dacoit in a superb way. SO PLS PLS PLS get Amba back as Phulwa as none can play as good a dacoit as her.

And please it has happened many a times on Colors itself that they have killed a character and then gotten the same actor back on another show as a lead and it has worked for them and We are sure that because of Shikha the TRP's will also rise as everyone loved her as Amba and have already welcomed her as a dacoit.

PLS PLS PLS cast her.

@sali - The leap is necessary because they have to show the happenings in the life of the grown up Phulwa as well, since the show is loosely based on Phoolan Devi's life. Maybe it is not intermittent, but they cannot continue with Jannat for ever.
Hope they find some one good enough who can do justice to the role.

Why have a leap and spoil it all?????. Jannat is a talented and superb actress for her age. I have got a feeling that the serial won't do so well post leap like jannat's other drama kashi which had poor ratings after leap, the whole drama is about the life of phulwa the young girl and the hard times she has to face being married to an older man who is way more mature than her. Why do all india dramas have leaps in them some stories are better off without leaps to be honest!!!!!!!
