Holi 2020: How Bollywood celebrated Holi amidst Corona Virus scare

Coronavirus that originated in China, has created a major scare around the world and it just feels more real today, on the festive occasion of Holi as many people have avoided being in crowded areas. While that stands true, our Bollywood’s most elite citizens are still having a blast in their own small but fun way. Here’s taking a look at what Bollywood holi 2020 looked like….

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan, celebrated Holi Dahan at their residence in Mumbai. Celebrated with a bon fire just a day before Holi, Holika dahan is a testament to the power of devotion over evil represented by King Hiranyakashyap. 

No holi party is complete without the Balam pichkari song. Deepika Padukone shared a small video on her social media handle, where she is seen donning a colour splattered tee-shirt and dancing on her track.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been on a roll, the couple had an early Holi celebration with the Ambanis and later by themselves. Priyanka Shared a post on her social media handle, captioning, “We have already been living in color over the past few days. Literally. Nick’s first Holi was made so special being home. May everyone celebrating have a very happy and safe Holi.” 

Earlier, Nick Jonas too had shared a post via his social media handle captioning, "My first Holi! (Five days early)So much fun celebrating with such incredible people here in my second home in India. (hashtag holi @_iishmagish @anandpiramal @priyankachopra."

Kareena Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan were seen wearing all white ethnic outfits and leaving their Bandra home to chill with their family. Later, Kunal Khemu shared a post of Tim and Anaya playing with colour. 

Dolled up in a Punit Balana creation, Jacqueline Fernandes attended a holi bash in the city. She made holi dressing a lot cooler and stylish.

Kangana Ranaut, who is in Manali at the moment, celebrated the occasion with her brother and rakhi-brother. Her team shared a post via social media, captioning “ (happy holi hashtag) Guys! #KanganaRanaut and her brother Aksht and Fiancee along with Kangana's Rakhi bother, Ajay Dhama, celebrating Holi!”
