Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is one of the most loved shows of small screen. This reboot version of the epic love saga starring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan in lead roles has been raking numbers since the first episode. While the audience is in awe with the entire thing we have already reported that Hina is all set to bid farewell to the show due to her prior commitments.

As per the storyline, Komolika will be exposed as Anurag's father Moloy Basu (Uday Tikekar) will come out of coma. A source revealed to an entertainment portal that, "While Hina was to shoot her last scene by this month end, her period has been extended by a week before she bounces off to Cannes where she makes her red carpet debut. Hina's temporary farewell on the show will hence take place by the end of the first week of May. The date of her singing off is yet to be decided. However, after Cannes, the actress will then begin prepping up for her film with Vikram Bhatt where she plays the editor of a fashion magazine." The source further revealed, "In the upcoming sequence while Komolika's truth will be revealed to everyone with Moloy coming back. A promo for the same will soon be released. Komolika will then stage her own death, only to return to seek revenge later on."

Meanwhile, Hina is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Hussein Khan's women-centric film titled Lines. The films first look will be out at Cannes Film Festival and Hina, along with Lines team, will be making her Cannes Film Festival debut. Post it in June, Hina will reportedly start shooting for Vikram Bhatt's untitled film where she will be playing editor of a fashion magazine.
