Here's some GOOD NEWS for all the 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behena Hai' fans!

Amidst all the celebrations for the series, the producer of the show opines a strong point.

There have been multiple instances where Indian TV shows are remade and aired in different languages across multiple countries. And, adding to that list is one of Star Plus' much loved show, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behena Hai.

Starring Kushal Tandon - Nia Sharma - Karan Tacker - Krystle Dsouza, the show has been remade in the form of an English series, and producer Siddharth Malhotra took to Twitter to express his opinion on the same.

We quizzed Siddharth about the same, to which he said, "I feel very very elated that a show which is an integral part of my life and my brain child is considered to be telecasted or dubbed as an English series... It is pure joy and happiness."

We also asked him if he thinks this is fair to the makers, to which he said, "I don't feel it's fair as we are paid for one version, Hindi. Of course, we sign off all the rights but I personally feel it's only just and fair that makers are given royalty even if it's a minuscule piddly amount, just for the respect towards their creation if that particular content has been chosen to be further exploited."

Well, we are equally happy for the makers and the cast of the show, and Siddharth does have a point.
