Harssh Rajput opens up on the failure of 'Kuch Toh Hai - Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein'

The track record for supernatural thrillers has actually been rather amazing on Indian TV where it began with Naagin's 

mammoth success and has continued ever since. But of course, even in this list, there are quite a few shows that haven't worked out and one of them was Kuch Toh Hai - Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein, which was a different take on the franchise.

The show didn't last long and the show went off-air in just over a month on 21st March 2022. Needless to say, leading man Harssh Rajput was upset about it as he went on to talk about it with ETimes TV, the actor said, "Honestly, I was a bit upset when I got to know that the show was going off air. Supernatural and shows revolving around naagins mostly connect with viewers. But every show has its own journey. I enjoyed shooting for it, so it's okay."

Since then, Rajput has been doing singles and also appeared in a special episode of his TV show Nazar. Talking about it, he said, "Last year for the Ankahee Dastaan's series our show Nazar was brought back in the format of a film. Thankfully, I got an opportunity to play half-human-half-devil Daavansh again. Naagin, daayan, pisachini, vampires were all part of Indian stories. These stories never cease to amaze us. Most of the supernatural shows cast a magic spell on viewers, that's why they adore these shows."

While Rajput rose to fame as a teen actor more than a decade ago in Prithviraj Chauhan, the actor has starred in an array of successful shows since, most notable being Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Nazar.
