Harshad Arora enjoys shooting in his hometown- Delhi!

Fans of heartthrob Harshad Arora have been missing him from quite a long time ever since his show Beintehaa wrapped up but now he is all set to be back on screen with his new show Swadheenta.

What can be more exciting for an actor then getting to shoot in their hometown? Its a bliss for them and currently Harshad is enjoying the same. In a conversation with us, Harshad shares about his experience shooting in Delhi, about Delhi winters and much more.

How has been your experience shooting in Delhi?

It's a very good experience to shoot here and I am enjoying my shoots in Delhi. I like food and weather here. I Don't know why people hate this weather but I like it. My close friends and family are here. What else I can ask for?

Share how you feel shooting in the winters of Delhi?

I feel good but winters have just started in Delhi. It feels nice to shoot in Delhi especially outdoor. A lot of people who still recognize me as Zain, though Beintehaa show is over. People in Delhi are more star struck than in Mumbai and they are more inclined towards television. The co-stars and the unit are great to work with and we have a great director too. We are enjoying it a lot.

What are the locations in Delhi you are shooting at?

We are shooting extensively at various locations like Lajpat, nearby Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Chandani Chowk and at our sets.

Are you getting mobbed?

No really mobbed but people are recognizing me and they come to talk to me, take selfies and ask me for autographs. It feels nice to see that even after it's been one year that the show went off-air, they still remember me.

Is shooting in Delhi taking you down the memory lane to your school/college days?

Yes, I am meeting all my school friends after a long gap. They are excited too that I am shooting in Delhi. It's always nice to meet your school friends after so long.  

Do you miss Delhi winters when you are in Mumbai?

Yes, sometimes I do but there are so many things going around in Mumbai that I don't really get time to miss it that much. It's always nice to be in Delhi and experience the good food and winter. Delhi has something about it which one can't get in Mumbai. I like Delhi and it's always nice to be in your own city.

What is the perfect way to enjoy Delhi winters?

A perfect way to enjoy Delhi winters according to me is going out in the night when its foggy and then sitting with your friends in some open place setting up a bonfire and chit chat with them. Winters are quite nice in Delhi. Even the early morning fog that doesn't let you get up from your bed so easily and I hate it (laughs).

Fans are eagerly waiting for the commencement of your show. Any message for them?

Just wait for some more time; it will happen soon. Hopefully by the end of this month or next month the promos will go on-air. We are planning for it anytime soon.
