Colors' Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7, has come an end with the winner being announced. While the 16 weeks of the show have been gripping for the viewers but exasperating from the contestants. With their painstaking efforts and slogging for the title, dashing and reserved Ashish Sharma has awarded the title of the show.
In conversation with TellyBuzz, Ashish talks about his journey, reaction and dancing in front of Madhuri Dixit Nene.
Finally the trophy is yours, share your excitement?
I would like to share my excitement with just one word that is 'Delighted'. I am overjoyed with the result and happy that I could stand up to all the expectations led towards me.
You being a consistent performer have showcased different forms of dance, being a non-dancer how challenging was it for you to perform?
Since the very first week I have tried to showcase new and different dance forms. I think this was my versatile journey where I have never repeated any dance form. It becomes more challenging to learn new dance forms that too after you come from another shoot where you are busy the whole day but the fact is that I have made it my strength as the hurdles that come your way to make you strong and push you forward. And the main challenge was to stand up to the expectation of the people who are giving their 2 minutes for you to watch your performance.
Out of all the performances, which performance is closest to you?
Tadap Tadap song from the film Hum Dil De Chukhe Sanam, this performance is very much closest to my heart as it was an intense performance which required all my emotions to put into the dance.
Talking about your choreographer Shampa who is the two time winner of Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7, how was it practicing with her?
Shampa is a person who observes you closely and picks individual's trait within you. She utilizes your strength efficiently in the performance. She is a special friend now and a great person to learn from.
You have never won the 'Golden shoes' and now you are the winner, what do you have to say?
Golden Shoes does not matter as far as the trophy is with you.
You shared the stage with the Dancing diva Madhuri Dixit Nene, what did you get to learn from her?
Madhuri Dixit Nene is an elegant person having panache in her and the thing that I have learned from her is discipline. She has good disciplined on time and that is what I loved about her.
How was your bonding with your co-contestants?
Honestly speaking I did not get much time to gel with any of my co-contestants. I used to go for rehearsals on late night because of my another shoot so and by that time all used to leave from there, even on the shoot all are busy with their performances so I hardly spoke to any of them.
In your first reality show you emerged as the winner so can we see you doing another reality show soon?
No, I am not looking forward to be a part of any more reality shows, as I am quite not suitable for other reality shows as being shy won't help me to participate in other reality shows.
Your both shows Rangrasiya and Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7 have come to an end, now what are you looking forward to?
A long vacation for almost 2-3 months and then I am completely open for any interesting ventures that comes my way.
TellyBuzz wishes Ashish Sharma hearty congratulations for winning the trophy of Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7!
