She is set to mark her acting debut in the lead role of the upcoming show, 'Vishkanya'.

Aishwarya Khare, the debutant plays a one-of-a-kind role in her first show, which is that of a vishkanya (poison girl).

'Vishanya' has managed to create a decent buzz since its launch and is set to go on-air today. The show will be portraying various features which include love, vengeance, jealousy and most importantly, mystery.

About making her debut, Aishwariya tells, "It is an absolute dream come true for me. I never imagined to make my acting debut with a role like this one. I feel so privileged to be a part of this show."

About the role, she tells, "I actually feel like Cindrella. How often does one get to play a role like this. I am still in the world of fairies and fantasy. And the show is about fairytale romance-meets-mysterious happenings. Just like those tales of Cindrella and Rapunzel. I feel extremely elated about it."

Playing such a complex and unique role, we asked her about the preparations and challenges she faced..! To which Aishwarya said, "Absolutely! Apart from the complexity of the character, the biggest challenge I faced was learning Bengali. I am not a Bengali and especially with Rohini ji and Medha around me, who are fluent Bengali-speaking people, I had to work harder."

She added, "Also, another challenge for me was to loose weight for the character. Which as you can see, I am still working on (laughs). But yes, there are challenges! And of course that hardwork is worth it when it transpires successfully on-screen. The best part about the character is that, it is totally natural. Any normal girl would relate to it."

Why did they base this in Bengal? Vishakanyas - they were there in Magadha during Chanakya's time. So they could have based this story in Patna drawn a link w/ ancient Vishakanyas and made it more intriguing
