Gangubai Kathiawadi 'Dholida' song out: Alia Bhatt will make you groove on the garba track

The moment that all fans have been waiting since yesterday has finally arrived. Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram yesterday to share a teaser for the first song from Gangubai Kathiawadi, Dholida. 

Looking at it, the level of excitement among fans was at an all-time high. But, as promised, the filmmakers have released the first song from the film, and we're sure it'll make you want to put on your dancing shoes and hit the dance floor.

Alia Bhatt will be seen doing Garba in the song, according to the teaser. The actress looked stunning in her Gangubai avatar, dressed in a white saree with a flower-covered bun. 

The background is lit up, and several girls are mirroring Alia's steps, in keeping with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's grandeur. In addition, the actress's dance moves will energize you. Alia captioned the video on Instagram saying,

"An absolute dream come true to dance to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's music. My heart will always beat for Dholida."

Meanwhile, according to reports in a leading news portal, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Gangubai Kathiawadi, a UA certificate with some minor changes. 

The film will be releasing on February 25th. According to reports, the film's duration has barely been cut by a minute or two after all of the adjustments. A sequence in which India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is seen planting a rose, has been changed.

For the unversed, the film is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi's novel, Mafia Queens of Mumbai and will also star Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Shantanu Maheshwari, Jim Sarbh, Varun Kapoor and Indira Tiwari.
