This afternoon, the sets of Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ caught fire. The incident happened nearly at 4pm. Production people acted promptly and asked everyone to vacate the place on time. The actors along with the crew rushed out of the sets to find a safer place.

As per highly placed sources, the fire caught while the crew was shooting for a scene. Soon after, cast and crew ran out of the sets and are safe. The team was shooting for some patch work of the Holi scenes.

India Forums got in touch with actress Sheetal Maulik, who plays the character of Sonali Chavan in the show. We apologized to Sheetal for calling at such a crucial moment and asked about the fire. The actress was in a shocked state of mind and started to cry.

She said, “I don’t know how, but the entire set caught fire. I am not in the state to talk much. I’m sorry.” We understood the state of mind of the actress and didn’t persuade her for a detailed quote.

We called Aria Sakaria's (Savi) mother to know more about the incident, she said, "We were called for the shot and Aria and I were leaving the make-up room and that's when I heard about the fire and we were asked to rush out of the sets. The fire was quite wild and the entire set of the show is damaged. It has become like a barren land. It's saddening. Thankfully, everyone is safe. The fire spread until the neighbouring sets of  'Ajooni' and 'Banni Chow Home Delivery'. I just hope everyone's safe."

We promise to update this copy as an when we get more information on the same.

Stay tuned.

Devikadish 2 months ago You guys could've simply reported incident, calling up the witnesses just to get a byte was unnecessary. That could've been done later, why bother people who maybe in shock, and still trying to process everything.
Sorry bolke bhi byte toh le he liya na.

And it gets better, you guys update it with other people's quote, aur dus logo ko call kardo ab🤦🏻‍♀️

What rubbish IF? Fire broke out and you are calling the actors? Why?
Just cause you wanted a quote, a situation like this means everyone will be panicking why would you even call? Inhumane IF, you are proving to be disgusting just for exclusivity you showed how inhumane you are.
