#Fashionforecast:Cropped hair, Athletic Builds and Girl Power Statements will dominate 2017

Cropped hair, athletic builds and girl power statements will be the new go-to makeover! 2016 saw a lot of actresses get themselves a good makeover and dramatically transform their look. Be it for roles or trying something different, these divas gave us some major insight into 2017's style! 

Up first, we have TV divas bringing in a major change in hair trends-

Earlier in the year, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress did a little chop-chop and we weren't disappointed with the outcome. Divyanka Tripathi also mentioned feeling like a youth icon on shedding her typical bahu persona.  

Manasi Salvi took on the cropped hair do with such ease, it was like the trend was created for her. She carried off a pixie cut scoring brownie points!

Avika Gor made waves when she chopped her long locks and went for the cropped look. And, we can safely say it wasn't a bad haircut.

Kavita Kaushik blended right into her new do. With her cheek bones, we aren't surprised how well it flattered her features. 

The last few months of the year were rife with celebs going for athletic builds, gym-motivation strung along with active wear and the pixie cut ruled hair trends. We have an inkling the trend will be huge in the months to come!

The advent of feminism, the emphasis on fitness and sports lead us to some stellar fashion moments like the Dangal Girls rocking pixie cuts in the film and its promotional events.

Internationally the cropped hair trend emerged alongside the bold "We should all be Feminists" statement T-shirt on the Dior Runway. Are we seeing a turning page here?
