Fardeen's brother Reza Khan on being approached for 'Bigg Boss'

Bigg Boss is known to present one hit season after the other and the show has given many people a lot of career opportunities over the years. We have seen how many figures have managed to have a retribution of career of sorts and done amazingly well later too.

On that note, Reza Khan, brother of Fardeen Khan talked about being approached the show for a couple of times. Khan is the nephew of late Feroz Khan and goes by his stage name, Feroz Cage.

The Iranian national has a number of songs to his credit and is keen to make his own in the Bollywood industry. Talking about being approached for the show twice in an interview with Times of India he said, “I was approached for the show twice in the past two years. But I'm keeping myself away from the show. I feel that if I participate, then the audience will question my credibility and side-line me with the trending term – nepotism. Many might even say Salman (Khan) sir helped me. So, I'm not doing the show. My current focus is Bollywood.”

He adds, “When you come from a renowned family, especially in our entertainment industry, it brings with it a lot of challenges. If one calls us nepotism kids, then they should also see how we are judged. There is already a lot of pressure on us because the audience wants us to live up to the expectations of our family members, who are stars. We may get a chance the first time because of being a star kid, but that chance becomes the last chance for us if we don't prove our worth.”

Talking about late uncle Feroz Khan, he said “He always wanted to see us doing well here. But he never helped us, be it me, my cousins Fardeen or Zayed (Khan). They’ve made their space in this industry on their own, but I am still on my way. My wish is to make it big and make my family proud.”
