Sony TV's upcoming period drama, 'Peshwa Bajirao' has been in the news in recent times for its casting process primarily. From roping in child actor Rudra Soni to roping in stalwart actors like Nawab Shah, Raza Murad, and Mukesh Khanna, the show has been roping in actors to play pivotal roles.

However, it seems that assembling such a huge ensemble cast has turned out to be having a small glitch. The celebrated veteran actor, Mukesh Khanna, who is still known as 'Shaktimaan', who was roped in to play Brahmendra Swami has now decided to quit the show already.
According to a leading news portal, the actor, who was roped in for the pivotal role of Brahmendra Swami, has decided to back out of the project.

The actor mentioned that he was approached for the role and that happened due to creative differences. Apparently, the makers said that Mukesh had to sport a top bare body look with a huge beard to make him look like a 'Saadhu'. However, the actor said that these were two things he refused to sport in the first round of talks itself. Even after a series of look tests, the makers insisted on Mukesh sporting the same look, however, as he mentioned initially itself, he won't be doing that and hence backed out of the project.

Alas! It certainly is sad news and we wonder who will fill in the shoes of Mukesh Khanna?

It's better he already left the show because he has a habit of leaving the show in between and creating problems. He left PKDH in between and after that another show as well. So it's better he already left this show. He is great actor but inconsistent with his commitment.

I like this actor...I hope he would come on TV soon...Will always love to watch him in any mythological or historical character rather than any normal one.

Anyway...He is always against in distortion of History or Mythical stories so it is better that he has moved on from this show.

Because ON Indian TV...Historicals are 90 % fictions only.
