Ekta Kapoor announces first mega PAN India film with Mohanlal highlighting her 23-year journey

Ekta Kapoor, the creative genius behind some of India's most beloved family dramas, is celebrating a major milestone - 23 years since the launch of her hit show, 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.' The daily soap, which took the nation by storm, first aired on July 3, 2000, and remained a favourite among viewers for an impressive eight years. 

But that's not all, Ektaa has now announced her first pan-India film with superstar Mohanlal. Ekta Kapoor has unveiled her first-ever pan-Indian film, 'Vrushabha.' In an exciting collaboration with Connekkt Media and AVS Studios, the film stars the iconic superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. Set to be a breathtaking blend of emotions and cutting-edge VFX, 'Vrushabha' promises to be an epic action entertainer that transcends generations.

In a recent Instagram post, Ekta Kapoor shared an intriguing revelation about how her success was foretold by the renowned astrologer, Pandit Janardhan, way back in 1994. The astrologer predicted that she would create a show that would captivate audiences just like the legendary epics 'Ramayan' and 'Mahabharat' did on Doordarshan. Taking to her Instagram account, she wrote, " Year 1994. I’m siting in my frn Shabina’s house n pandit Janardan sees me ( now more popular with indian match making 😃) n tells me I will have my own company I tell him I’m planning to start in august n he says all will b good but wait for ur 25 th year that’s when u will@make a show that ppl will watch like they used to watch Ramayan n Mahabharata on doordrshan ( his exact words) I say I don’t think I can make a mytho so good but let’s see I say"

She further wrote, "Year 2000 six years have passed since HUM PAANCH n I’m asking Sameer sir @sameern to give me a drama my South Indian drama is doing well n Hindi channel shud see@it he says yes. Same year mach2000I cast a new girl for a important role but on seeing her on tape I tear her contract only to sign as her as a lead on a spring day in March it also happens to b her bday @smritiiraniofficial. Year 2023 July it’s guru Purnima n I look at my son n think ‘ Khelne Wale Baith Ke Dekhenge..Naye Khiladi Khel Yeh Khelenge..Rishton Ka Rang Badla..Naaton Ka Dhang Badla..Aaina Phir Bhi Wahi"

While in the second post she shard a happy picture with her dad Jeetendra and Mohanlal. Along with the same she wrote, " Posing with d legend n the genius !!!! JAI MATA DI so excited to b working with the actor par excellence @mohanlal
