'Diya Aur Baati Hum' actor to mark an entry in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'

Tere Mere Sapne (Star Plus) fame Ekta Tiwari, who has also appeared in popular shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum and more, and will now be seen making an entry in ace daily soap 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.

What is the fun of watching a television show without a vamp? The antagonist has a major hand in making the protagonist characters a hero in front of their viewers and fans and that is exactly what Ekta will be doing in the show!

The fine-looking actress will essay the role of Surekha, a double-faced woman, who will appear to be humble at heart but in reality, will think of nothing but destroying relationships and the strength of the household.

When asked Ekta about bagging the popular show. she stated, "I have played lead roles so far and this character gives me an opportunity to break the positive and innocent on-screen image I have created for myself. Also, this role comes in as a challenge as it will shift from a grey shaded character to absolutely negative and I look forward to shooting with the cast from the first week of November."

Ekta's entry will surely steam up the entertainment quotient of the show as she makes life troublesome for Naitik, Akshara, and their extended family!

thanks shwetha, I skipped some parts of mahabali, is this the girl who played a widow and cured suraj by removing the bullets...I tend to remember characters who interacted with suraj more...like the WTC ones, it has been ages, but i still remember everyone...

Unfortunately for you they won't end it anytime soon lol. I was once like you and wondered why this show was still on air, that is, until I got a glimpse of the Karthik Naira chemistry. As long as they are in the show, I hope it never ends.

@.NJ. Since you followed DABH and asked who is this actress I thought of letting you know. She played Devi Narayani, sister of Shekar in the mission mahabali track. Its just that IF did not mention her role in DABH.

who is this girl...I followed DABH for 5 years cant remember this lady appearing in the show...IF, when you tag a show with an actor, please make sure they have done a significant or at least a memorable role in the show...I was misled by the title...
