Didn’t quit ‘Teri Meri Doriyaan’ for ‘Naagin 6’: Vaishnavi Ganatra clears the air

Vaishnavi Ganatra was recently seen in Star Plus show ‘Teri Meri Doriyaan’. The actress raised eyebrows when she suddenly quit the show and right after bagged ‘Naagin 6’. There was buzz that the actress might have left the Star Plus show after getting an offer from ‘Naagin 6’.

India Forums got in touch with Vaishnavi and she clarified saying, “I didn’t leave Teri Meri Doriyaann for Naagin 6. I only bid adieu to the show because there was nothing substantial for me to perform. Trust me when I say ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’ will ALWAYS be a show really close to me. Speaking very genuinely, it has been a heart-warming experience. The people I met on set will forever be super close to me. Everyone from the production, cast, and crew holds a special place in my heart. My co-actors were the sweetest and I am so glad that I got to know them and worked with them. They are like a family to me. We all bonded really well. And so it was really difficult for me to bid adieu to the show and the whole team.”

She added, “However, I know that I have the ability to showcase my talent and so it is important for me to do roles which are meaty and content based. I felt like it was my responsibility to keep grabbing new and better opportunities for growth. There was nothing substantial for me to do and so I took the decision of exiting the show amicably, on a very good note. Right then, I got the opportunity to be a part of Naagin 6 and it was almost as if this was all planned out for me. I was beyond happy and I grabbed the opportunity. Yes, it was difficult to leave my previous team but it is also a beautiful chance to make special moments with a new team and a new family. I absolutely admire the people I am working with right now and we have already started bonding so well and how.”

There was nothing substantial for me to do in 'Teri Meri Doriyaan' so I took the decision of exiting the show amicably, on a very good note. Right then, I got the opportunity to be a part of 'Naagin 6' and it was almost as if this was all planned out for me. I was beyond happy and I grabbed the opportunity.

Talking about being a part of ‘Naagin 6’, Vaishnavi added, “Naagin 6 is probably the best Indian supernatural fiction TV series that has been going on for years in a row now. Being roped in for a show like this is a huge thing! Currently, I am playing a pivotal role in the show. My character's name is Tina. The show has taken a leap. Tina is a very sweet, bubbly girl. I cannot reveal a lot as of now but I can surely say that I was really intrigued to take up this show. I genuinely got attracted to the character, moreover, being associated with such a renowned production like Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor ma’am is a blessing- so I took up the opportunity that knocked at my door.”
