Deepika Padukone reflects on the evolution of her relationship with Ranveer Singh over five blissful years

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a trip to Belgium on November 15, 2023, choosing to embrace the joy of five years of marital bliss. However, maintaining privacy during their vacation proved to be a challenge in the age of social media, as the couple interacted with fans, and their pictures circulated widely on the internet.

In a recent interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika Padukone shared insights into their anniversary getaway and the complexities of keeping moments private in the digital age.  She acknowledged the positive aspect of being recognized for their work abroad, stating, "With social media and the way that content is transcending borders, it's no longer possible to be absolutely discreet when we travel. But we still managed to find quiet moments. Of course, no one is complaining if we get recognized overseas for our work. It's always nice."

Reflecting on the evolution of their relationship, Deepika shared that observing the journey of their bond has been both captivating and beautiful. In the initial stages, they were like opposite poles, each with their unique qualities. 

She emphasized the mutual growth, saying, "We’ve picked up each other’s traits, learnt from each other and grown together." Deepu underscored the importance of spending quality time as a couple and cherishing moments with their respective families. Deepika highlighted the beauty of the eight of them coming together as a united group, bonding over shared experiences.

The couple chose Brussels as their celebration destination, where Deepika is seen giving Ranveer a kiss on the cheek against the backdrop of a river.

Looking ahead, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are set to share the screen in the upcoming cop film "Singham Again," directed by Rohit Shetty. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and more, with a scheduled release on August 15, 2024. Additionally, Ranveer is gearing up for the third installment of "Don."
