Deepika Padukone pays a visit to Tirumala with sister Anisha ahead of 'Fighter's first song release

As Deepika Padukone eagerly anticipates the release of her upcoming aerial action thriller, 'Fighter', the Bollywood diva recently took a spiritual detour to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. Accompanied by her sister Anisha, Deepika's visit to the sacred temple has stirred quite a buzz on social media.

Ahead of the release of the film's first song, "Sher Khul Gaye," scheduled for tomorrow, Deepika Padukone arrived in Tirumala on Thursday evening. The star-studded film "Fighter" features an ensemble cast including Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover. In the videos and pictures circulating online, Deepika and Anisha can be seen making a humble entrance, choosing to walk barefoot as a mark of reverence before the divine deity.

Maintaining a simple and comfortable look, both sisters donned pullovers with leggings for their temple visit. Deepika opted for an all-black ensemble, while Anisha showcased a combination of orange and black in her attire. The duo, flanked by robust security, made a brief yet solemn visit to the revered site. 

Deepika Padukone's connection with Tirumala goes beyond occasional visits; she is a devoted regular. Be it celebrating her father's birthday, launching a new movie, or simply seeking blessings, the actress consistently makes meaningful trips to the sacred grounds.

On the professional front, 'Fighter,' directed by Siddharth Anand, is set to grace the theaters on January 25 next year. In addition to this action-packed venture, Deepika is set to captivate audiences in the sci-fi action film "Kalki 2898 AD" alongside Prabhas. The actress also has exciting projects in her pipeline, including 'The Intern' alongside Amitabh Bachchan and 'Singham Again'.
