Cost cutting in Balaji Camp

With the stock market dwindling, every company is seeing a cost cutting in its expenses. And it’s not just airlines and corporate firms, but production houses too. One such production house is Balaji Telefilms.
 

Balaji Telefilms, production house of the czarina of television soaps, Ekta Kapoor, is going ahead with a heavy cost reduction including cutting down the members of the staff.  As a reliable source informs us, “The decline in the share market has adversely affected the production house. Cost cutting has become a regular feature these days and Balaji is one of the few production houses that has started with this.”

 

Adding further about the dismissal of employees our source says, “The whole nonfiction team has been terminated. Apart from that 15 assistant directors have also been shown the door. The decision was taken on the 3rd of November.”

 

Well, the strong hold on Balaji seems to have shaken due to the downfall in the market. Now it awaits to be seen how long the cost cutting will go on.
