TV actor Chetan Hansraj who will soon be seen in Naagin Season 3 has sworn off social media.

The actor has chosen to quit Facebook, in the wake of ongoing controversy where users' personal data was leaked.

On March 17, the London Observer and The New York Times reported that UK-based data firm Cambridge Analytica acquired millions of Facebook users' personal information to build software that could target potential swing voters in political campaigns, including US President Donald Trump's 2016 election bid.

Following this, Chetan has also put up a status on why he deleted his facebook account.

When contacted Chetan, he told us, "Yes I have deleted my Facebook account and I will not come back till the issue is solved. Rather than cribbing, we should raise voice."
