Jahnavi Dhanrajgir played the role of Sakshi in Broken But Beautiful 3 and is paired opposite Sidharth Shukla. Though she makes an entry in the later episodes, she does manage to leave an impression with her character. While she has done a great job at playing the part, fans sent out a lot of love to her role as well. In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Jahnavi spoke about the series, co-star Sidharth, and more.
How does it feel to be a part of such a successful franchise?
It feels wonderful being a part of this show and I am very excited. It is wonderful seeing all the love it has been receiving.
Your experience of working with Sidharth Shukla?
I remember the first day we were shooting, Sidharth came up to me and introduced himself. He has no airs and I really like that about him. Facing the camera with someone like that is always nice because then you can just concentrate on being the two characters and do the job well. Working with him was a pleasant, comfortable and professional experience.
Have you seen the previous seasons?
I have been catching up with the first two seasons now (ahead of the release) and so far, I am thoroughly enjoying it.
You’re making your digital debut so what’s your take on the current OTT space?
I love OTT platforms, I think there are many new and interesting concepts that are being explored, characters being developed and that is always exciting as a storyteller. You want to see stuff that is relatable, that is different, that is new and fresh, and I think OTT gives us a space for that. I am really excited to see it develop further.
How have you been keeping yourself busy during the lockdown?
I keep myself busy by sketching, reading, researching on new topics, playing with my cats, watching shows, and drinking way more coffee than I probably should (laughs). I also spend a great deal of time sitting with my thoughts in an attempt to understand myself better.
Future projects fans should know about?
I honestly don't know what the future holds, especially in light of the pandemic, but I am hopeful, excited, and looking forward to better times and being a part of more good, creatively satisfying projects.
