In a bid to attract more eyeballs, Sahara Filmy has launched a new show called Bollywood Ka Boss, which is bound to make the audiences a notch more filmy. Hosting the show will be Bollywood's fun man Boman Irani, who co-incidentally makes his debut as a host on the small screen.

The show is produced by Siddharth Basu's Synergy Adlabs and promises to be a quiz show that would put the real Bollywood buffs to grilling sessions. Speaking about the launch of Bollywood Ka Boss, Bomani Irani in his comments said, "Though I have been active in the film industry for the last four years only, but the little known fact is that I have been associated with films for more than two decades as an ardent fan without missing any single Bollywood release. Now, by hosting this Bollywood quiz show, I want to share my knowledge with the millions who want to know more about Hindi films."

Siddharth Basu, who has earlier produced hit shows like KBC and Mastermind India, is gung ho about his latest venture. Though this show comes on Sahara Filmy, which has relatively lesser reach than Star Plus, Basu is confident that it will be able to tap a larger audience base with its interesting theme. Speaking to India-Forums about the show, he adds, "With a subject that deals with the most popular word in India----Bollywood, I believe the show will strike a chord with the audiences, and when you have a personality like Boman Irani sharing his filmy knowledge, it just can't get any better."

Synergy Adlabs is also adding final touches to the new season of Jhalak Dhikhlaja, will be unveiled by the end of this month apart from two new shows on the upcoming INX Media channels.
