His condition further deteriorated, and he was placed on ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), a life support system, due to cardiac arrest, liver-related issues, and pneumonia.

Siddique's cinematic journey began as an assistant director alongside his friend Lal, under the guidance of veteran filmmaker Fazil in 1983. The dynamic duo went on to deliver cinematic gems that captivated audiences, including the iconic films 'Ramji Rao Speaking, 'In Harihar Nagar, 'Godfather,' and 'Vietnam Colony.'

His expertise transcended regional boundaries as he ventured into directing Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Siddique's directorial prowess reached Bollywood with the Salman Khan-starrer 'Bodyguard, where he showcased his mastery. His final film, 'Big Brother,' released in 2020, featuring the esteemed Mohanlal in the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast.
