Bhuvan Bam-Ashish Chanchlani Win International Awards at Cannes'19!

India’s popular Youtubers, Bhuvan Bam of BB Ki Vines and Ashish Chanchlani of Ashish Chanchlani Vines, made their Cannes debut with the first edition of the ‘World Blogger Awards’ on Friday. The Award premiered on 24th May in Cannes at Hotel Martinez where in both Bhuvan and Ashish won international awards for their work.

Bhuvan won the ‘Global Entertainer of the year 2019’ award for his excellent contribution to digital entertainment while Ashish received the ‘Best Comedy Influencer’ Award.

Bhuvan was one of the three Indians to be nominated for the awards. He was seen walking the red carpet in a Giovani Tuxedo, Lenskart glasses and his quirky confident personality.

Ecstatic on winning the award, Bhuvan expressed, "I feel extremely happy and proud to win 'Global Entertainer Of The Year' on such a huge forum. This award rewards all of my hard-work and perseverance and I dedicate it to my BB Ki Vines army for always believing in me and never giving up. Onward and upwards now!"

Sharing the news on his social media handle, Ashish wrote, "Extremely proud to tell you all that i won the ‘BIGGEST COMEDY INFLUENCER’ Award at the WORLD BLOGGERS AWARD @ Cannes. I was so emotional there. I Couldn’t believe.”

Apart from this, Bhuvan is the first Indian to cross 10 million subscribers on YouTube (currently at 13 million) and has 6.5 million & 2.4 million followers on Instagram and Twitter respectively.

This year, Bhuvan was also awarded Cosmopolitan Awards for 'Most Viral Content Creator' and 'Entertainer Of The Year', Filmfare Award for his short 'Plus Minus', Instagram Award for '2018 Entertainer Of The Year', MensXP Award for 'Icon Of Newhood' and 'Social Media Icon Of Newhood' this year.

Ashish is known for his comic videos (Ashish Chanchlani Vines). He has over 8.7 milliom subscribers on his Youtube Channel. Many Bollywood stars like Shahid Kapoor and Kartik Aryan have collaborated with him.
