Bhumi Pednekar starrer Durgavati title changed to - Durgamati; Actress shares new Poster!

Bhumi Pednekar has a number of projects in the pipeline and the actress kick-started shooting for her titular role for Durgavati back in February 2020. The film is a remake of the Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie, and was being shot in Bhopal prior to the lockdown.

Meanwhile, the makers of the upcoming horror flick have announced the streaming date of Bhumi Pednekar starrer Durgamati. The film which was earlier titled as Durgavati has seen an unexpected development as the makers have changed the title to Durgamati and also unveiled the new poster. 

Durgamati is directed by G. Ashok and is being produced by Cape Of Good Films, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra.

The new poster was shared by Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar.

Meanwhile, in the poster shared by Akshay, the actor is seen giving an intense look on the mirror with smeared vermillion and a nath. The tagline of the film is 'The Myth' and will be streamed from December 11, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video.

Akshay shared the poster with the announcement on his Instagram page and captioned it as "Are you ready?. Back in February, Bhumi shot a song at a few farmhouses situated near the Kerwa Dam area, from where the water bodies of the city are visible. She was seen in the avatar of a ‘bhoot’, wearing loud makeup with frizzy and tangled hair.
