Bhumi Pednekar gets emotional, misses her late father on death anniversary: “10 years ago we lost you”

Actress Bhumi Pednekar is remembering her late father Satish Motiram Pednekar on his death anniversary. It’s been ten years since he left for heavenly abode, however, the actress says she can still feel his presence.

On Wednesday, Bhumi shared a picture of her late father on Instagram and penned an emotional note. She wrote, 

“Satish Motiram Pednekar Forever Papa ...10 years ago we lost you and yet we feel your presence in everything we do. I see you in samu and I hear you in everything that mom has to say. I see you when I talk, when I crack a joke or have my few moments of wisdom. You’ve left a void that nothing can fill, yet we feel so lucky to have had the years we had with you. A life full of memories and teachings that have made us who we are....”

On the work front, Bhumi was last seen in Durgavati, which released on a digital platform during the lockdown. The film opened to mixed reviews.

Next up, Bhumi will be seen in Badhaai Do alongside Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, the film is a sequel to the film Badhaai Ho, which starred Ayushmaan Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, Sanya Malhotra.

Earlier this month, the actress wrapped up the shooting of Badhaai Do and shared the same on social media.

Bhumi Pednekar has now moved onto her next project with Shashank Khaitan. The film is titled Mr. Lele and also features Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani.
