Bhagyavidhaata to go off air on April 15th..

COLORS' long running show, Bhagyavidhaata is slated to end in mid April..

COLORS and Shreya Creations' Bhagyavidhaata which has had a decent and successful run till now will go off air on April 15th. In an industry where shows are forced to wrap up every 3-4 months due to non-performance, Bhagyavidhaata has managed a run close to two years.

The story which went thro' a generation leap last year did have its share of good moments. Of late, the rating of the show has dipped as a result of which the channel has decided to end it.

Our source states, "The promo of Rashmi Sharma's new show, Sasural Simar Ka is already on air. The show is supposed to launch in mid April. Bhagyavidhaata will end on April 15th. However, the new show cannot take the 7 PM slot as the production house already has Saathiya Saath Nibhana airing at the same time slot on Star Plus. Considering this, the channel will have to change the time slot of an existing show to make way for the new launch".

When contacted, Richa Soni the protagonist of Bhagyavidhaata said, "Frankly speaking the show has had a good run. I have always been loyal to the show and have learnt a lot from this experience. I believe that all good things have to come to an end, but having said this, we have not got any official confirmation on it".

Producer Sheel Kumar too remained clueless about such a development.

i think bcz of this show other channels like SP Zee thought of hvng new shows on 7pm slot......i rember this show used to hv trps 3.5+.....best of luck it had to finish......

Well never watched a single epi of it so thank God its going off air...... finally space for another show.... come on Colors please bring back Bairi Piya with Sharad n Surpiya ...we fans are eager to see this show again

Thank god......at last wrapping up this crap, now nothing intersting is left to watch in colors come on guys please restart Bairi Piya as sequel or a new show with Sharad and Supriya

I stop watching the show after leap and saw the lead is still suffering.

I guess all shows must end one day but is never good for fans of that show. Good luck Richa.

So colors u have decided to scrap the show itself just to make the way for the lead which is much much better than the other shows airing in your channel with multiple marriages, infertility, and ek bache ke do do baap making a life a newborn hell as it has to chose a better father....yuck
