'Beyhadh 2' actor Paras Madaan turns producer with fiance, Soumita Das

Actor Paras Madaan was recently in the news where we reported how he is all set to get engaged to his fiance, Soumita Das. This is back in February we are talking about and now Madaan and Das are a happily engaged couple. And while Madaan is definitely an actor first, who has been in several shows, he is all set and rolling to venture into different aspects soon, as he is all set to turn producer.

That's right. Reports suggest that Madaan has started his own production company in collaboration with fiance, Das and he went on to talk about it in an interview with SpotboyE. He said, "It indeed feels like a big breakthrough in my career. It feels so overwhelming to be a part of the team where we work on conceiving an idea and then transforming it into a larger-than-life scenario which further holds the potential to connect with millions at various levels. This change makes me understand every situation that a producer goes through in a better way. Honestly, I’m really thrilled and elated to embark on this journey whilst unfolding what it holds for me."

When asked about the reason to take this step, he said,  "Acting has undeniably been my first love but I was always curious to know what goes on behind the camera. An actor plays a vital role in portraying a story but I feel that directing, producing, and visualizing it feels more intriguing to me. I am thankful to my fiancé Soumita Das, who herself has been an integral part in operating various OTT platforms for acknowledging my passion. I am glad that we decided to pursue our journey both personally and professionally. During the lockdown, the two of us decided to shape our undeniable impulse and yearning to work on curating interesting content for the audience & that’s when we opened up our own production house named “PM PRODUCTION” and the rest is history."

When asked about his first project as a producer, he said, "I cannot divulge into many details but we are coming up with some exciting web series and reality shows sooner than soon."

Madaan is best known for his acting roles in shows like Beyhadh 2, Divya Drishti and Laado 2 among others.
