Best friends forever and happily married too!

Mouli Ganguly and Mazher Sayed who are happily married have been friends for long and feel that while love and other things are secondary, it is their friendship which is bonds them best!

They have been married only for couple of years now but this couple know each other inside out since they claim they are good friends. "We knew each other for the past 13 years and our romance started 4 years after we met. We started as friends, then became best friends and now we are partners in marriage," says Mouli Ganguly last seen in Kya Huaa Tera Vaada on Sony TV as she remembers her association with her friend, boyfriend and husband - Mazher Sayed who was last seen in Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal on Colors.

That he was her friend first before anything else was what made things easier for Mouli, "When you find a best friend you don't look for another partner because nobody will understand us more than your best friend." Adds Mazher, "Yes, we started with friendship and not pataoing each other with flowers or showing our best side and the best part is abhi bhi waise hi chal rahi hai."

So who is more romantic amongst the two? Mouli says none of them is romantic. "No one is romantic but we enjoy doing small, small things for each other. We like watching films so we put on the DVD and along with loads of popcorn watch films together. We both are not very social kind of people and just being with each other, spending moments, going to Juhu beach when it rains... all these small things make me very happy. I feel very connected and real doing small things. I have to pull him since he is a little lazy and I have to take him out!"

Mazher too agrees to this and says, "Somebody has to make the effort and in our case she does it since I make her laugh day and night. That is something I always do and that is how we became best friends. I joke and she laughs. Otherwise we both are not romantic. If at all it has to be one amongst us, I would like to take the credit but she makes me quiet and says 'chup raho'. We are basically friends and that is the only relationship that is very strong and is a bond between us. I think love and other things are secondary whereas our friendship bond is so strong that it keeps us together in everything. In fact, I think ma baap, bhai behen mein bhi friendship ka ek bond hona hi chahiye tabhi ek understanding aati hai. Ya, she insists on calling herself my best friend but I have another best friend too," jokes Mazhar.

"Ya, I insist that you are my best friend but he is like but I have another best friend who is a guy with whom I can have my guy talks and share adventure tales' but then I am like but I am your best friend' and he has to agree to that. He goes and watches action films with his so called best friend which is something that I don't like since I am so used to him after 13 years that I cannot go out and eat without him! Mazher is a foodie and it is fun eating out with him!"

The couple agrees that the most romantic thing that they have done for each other is that they have got married to each other and are in bliss spending almost all their free time together. And what about starting a family? "We have not planned anything on that front as of now," they both aver.

Unlike other TV couples these two have not been seen working together in any show. "Apart from Nach Baliye, we have not doing anything together on TV. We will be doing a play together... But do you know I was once offered his mom's role," exclaims Mouli even as Mazher looks pleased, "Ya, that made me feel very young but then we didn't do the show!"

You know i got to know these guys through Nache and they are the most adorable, no-fuss, simple couple. I loved them. Since then this coupe and Shaleen and Dalijit are the best couple in the industry. I like to keep updated on these couples but share not much is written about them :(

lol I've always loved Mouli and seeing her with Mazher is really cute. Too think both Yash/ Mouli and Gauri/Mazher (in Kaahin Kissii Roz) ended up paired up in real life too, except the pairings got switched around a bit.
