#BB11: "I think Vikas Gupta is playing really well," - Arjun Bijlani

In a tete-a-tete, the actor expresses his opinion about the contestants of the Bigg Boss house.

Bigg Boss Season 11 on Colors has been the talk of the tellytown, courtesy the contestants and all the controversies doing the rounds pertaining the show. While there have been actors who are constantly sharing their views on social media, we got in touch with Arjun Bijlani (currently seen in Ishq Mein Marjawan) and asked him what does he have to say about the show and the contestants.

What are your views regarding the current season of Bigg Boss?

It is quite intimidating to see the way they stay in the house, there are budgets and tasks for even food. It is quite interesting and a huge number of people are even watching the show; the numbers speak for themselves.

I also have my friends in the house so every time I get a chance to see the show, I make sure I get a glimpse of it. In fact, there are small clips that keep making a round on Twitter as well, so yes the show is quite entertaining.

I think Vikas is playing really well, in fact, both Vikas and Shilpa are doing really well. I did not like the way she started her game initially, but now I think the likability factor exists.

Hina, I don't know what is up with her, the Hina I knew was very different. Everyone does fight in the house, but during the mirchi task whatever happened I was really shocked because that is something very dangerous. Probably even she is not realising and in the wake of playing the game, she did not come out to help.

I find Akash Dadlani really entertaining, and recently I saw Puneesh throwing chappal or something and I found it really weird. I don't think things like this should happen at this level, they are really embarrassing but then no one knows what can happen inside the house but I just hope things don't go to an extent that they are irreversible.

What do you have to say about Arshi Khan?

I find her one liners really interesting, they make me laugh a lot. And then of course, the fact that she keeps teasing Hiten Tejwani is really entertaining because given the simple guy that he is, it is fun to watch.

Who according to you will be the Top 3 finalists?

Vikas and Shilpa are definitely there. I think Hina also will be there because the way these three people are playing, they are the only people who are most visible in the Bigg Boss house. Also, Hiten stands a chance, if he begins to be more involved. And I think, Arshi could also be there. It is really very confusing to point out the top 3, so I'd rather name the Top 5 - Hina, Shilpa, Arshi, Vikas and either Puneesh or Akash.

Who do you see as the winner of the show?

I think Vikas should win because he is entertaining also. He has been a part of the industry and he is really very intelligent. And considering the way he is handling things right now, he has a very good chance at winning the show. But, as an actor, if I talk about popularity, Shilpa might as well win.

There has been a lot of negativity around Hina because of her behaviour in the show. What do you have to say about it?

I see Karan Patel's tweet, in fact, I saw one where he mentioned something to do with China, and fake and stuff. Twitter is a platform where people express their personal opinions and everyone has their own mindset about the show. I think no one is bad otherwise but in the house people often end up doing things which they'll wonder later on about 'why did I do this'. When you do something, you don't realise often what you are doing because you're angry and you're in the moment. She is also human, and I think everyone is being too negative about her, she has some guts to at least be in the house, which many don't. So I guess, we should let her play the game, and there will come a point where she'll come to terms with how she has done wrong.

If given a chance, would you do Bigg Boss?

I don't know whether I am the right kind of person to be in that house. I have been offered the show earlier but I couldn't do it because I was already doing something. I don't want to say a yes or no to anything right now, when the time will come, we'll see then.

Well, we don't know whether who will win or lose the show. But we are sure that seeing you in the Bigg Boss House will be real interesting.

i totally agree with arjun...vikas is very intelligent player...the way he described shilpa to hina yesterday was very impressive only vikas gupta is understanding what kind of game shilpa shinde is playing...may be he was one who worked with shilpa for longer duraton in past...but still vikas and hiten are the two people in big boss house who is playing game with dignity and decently...i really want hiten to win but if not hiten then vikas or shilpa is my choice...hina is good (task wise) and big boss will use her to boost the trp, hina will make top 3 or 4 but not going to win the show...

I agree with this. He is intelligent player. The way he describe shilpa to hina yesterday i am impress. He totally understand what game shilpa is playing. He tell hina that we feel that we are irritating shilpa but this is other way. She herself want us to irritate her. I hate shilpa. She always show herself nice person. But only her language is clear but heart is black. I am totally impress with vikas thoery about shilpa

i didn't think Arjun had been following the season so closely. well I would love to see Vikas win for sure, he certainly has improved his game and is entertaining. and Arjun immense respect for you for being so dignified with the way you have spoken about the contestants and their action.

Shilpa is the best but vikash has also turned out to be the dark horse of the show... These two will be the top 2... Hina might come 3rd but she wont win for sure... Others are not winning materials and are there just for drama and entertainment quotient...
